Born and raised in Mafikeng in the North West province, Amantle fell in love with the media and marketing industry while in search of a more exciting career, shortly after completing her first year in Architecture and working as a Draughtsman for six months. During her college studies, the AAA School of Advertising, Vega School of Brand Leadership and Digital Marketing Institute alumna worked as an intern at SAfm and a field presenter for Africa Awakes (a magazine show on Africa Magic). Her short TV stint saw her covering multiple events that included the 1Goal initiative; interviewing the likes of Angelique Kidjo, Eric Wainaina, Baaba Maal and Yvonne Chaka-Chaka. In 2013 she trained as a television presenter through Media Concepts at the SABC. On the modeling front, Amantle has featured in fashion spreads for Move magazine, Glamour, Real, Soul, Shape, True Love, Cosmopolitan, Destiny, BHF online magazine, Nubian Bride and played a “doo-wop” girl for one of MTN Nigeria’s TV commercials. The end of 2013 saw Amantle take her experience in modeling to greater heights. Sponsored by Esse Organic Skincare, The Pyramid Day Spa, Body Orchestra, Plum Footwear, ghd South Africa, Lawrence Boatwright, Visibly You, Stila Cosmetics, Skotch Boutique, BOS Brands and Placecol; Amantle treated close to 50 aspiring models to a series of free model workshops during which she shared insight about the basics and the business of modeling. The series of model workshops attracted interviews with Motsweding FM, Hashtag Radio, Woman Online, Farai Today, Trend Frenzy, Youth Village, UNISA Radio, UJFM, SABC 1’s Shift and Mzansi Insider as well as a request for her to head the panel of judges for the 2014 Mr and Miss Damelin Menlyn (Pretoria). Later that year, Amantle was featured on Cliff Central’s Untapped Talent with Siya Sangweni-Fynn as one of Mzansi’s young up and coming talent. Since 2015 Amantle has been the brand ambassador for Luxury Cosmetics; the sole South African distributor of Payot, Decleor and Stila Cosmetics. Juggling the role with a 9-to-5 inspired a new spin to her model workshops; a series of high tea events which were focused on fuelling conversations about topics that ranged from female empowerment, family, marriage, image, wellness, motherhood, social life, milestones and challenges that young women in their late 20s and early 30s face. In 2016, Amantle qualified as a regional semi-finalist for the Miss Earth Leadership Programme. Later in the year, Amantle was approached by Sammi Gomez Handcrafted Eyewear to represent the brand’s handcrafted wooden eyewear range.
