Khanyisile Nhlapho completed her performing arts course in 2006 at The National School of the Arts. She acquired theatrical experience through workshop productions and plays called Grease for Festival of Fame and Arts Alive. She did a photo shoot for Eskia Mphahlehle Magazine, a commercial for Mindset, a music video, and was a runner for Greener Pastures productions. After completing her performing art course Khanyisile ventured into community development through using arts as a tool to encourage others, by working as an executive committee member in the arts and culture department of Merafong City. She was part of the task team that coordinated arts events to encourage aspiring artist to showcase their work as they participate in projects like iShashalaza that is organized by the Gauteng Provincial Government and Mmabana art competetions from North West. She also adjudicated for different competitions concerning art within the community. She used her free time to volunteer backstage at the Market theatre and the Civic theatre. She wrote and performed a drama piece for Corporate Service Provider as well as an industrial drama piece for Tecroveer. In 2015 she was part of the musical called A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD at the National Childrens Theatre, as well as a SANRAL commercial. Her love and passion for the performing arts continues to drive her into imparting what she knows back to her community (Merafong City) as she takes a role of being a childrens radio presenter for Merafong FM.
