Nadia Beukes is a TV presenter, actress, singer, voice over artist and MC with her honors degree in Marketing Communication. Her path in the entertainment industry started with her entering and getting through to the final of Zing - a reality duet singing show aired on kykNET. Hereafter Nadia was a proud member of the acapella group Cutt Glass and toured South-Africa with the group for 3 years. Nadia has also been a member of the girl group The Dahlings & released a duet album titled Brieweboks as part of the group NX. As member of the “Dinamiese Dames” she continues to perform as vocalist and this group is available for corporate and intimate event predominantly aimed to empower and inspire woman. Nadia has acted on stage, screen and big screen in various roles and has worked as a radio presenter and co-host of Die Groot Ontbyt - a first-of-its-kind hybrid TV and radio show that is aired live, simultaneously on tv and radio. As anchor presenter on the very popular reality program Boer Soek 'n Vrou season 7 & 8, Nadia explored our beautiful country and found love for lonely farmers with the help of the production company Lions Head and kykNET. Other presenting work includes field presenting on Tuine en Tossels as well as EkoNET and Dekor. Continuity presenting on kykNET, Live co-presenting on Mnet Magic to the Max and various other corporate productions are also on Nadia's list of presenting credits. As MC the largest stage Nadia has stood on was the Huisgenoot Skouspel stage in the Sun City Superbowl & Grand West Casino in 2014, although there have been many other highlights as MC including SARIE voorbladgesig, Pendoring Awards, various kykNET stages at arts festivals and many corporate stages or more intimate events such as pageants and ladies mornings. Other stage credits include Musical Theatre productions ensemble work in the pantomimes Snow White and Pinocchio as well as Agent Snoet, Rocky Horror, Ons vir Jou, Houtkruis, Miss Rock and featured lead characters in Tree Aan, Dirty Dancing, Ester and Liefling. Film credits include: Pretville, Born to Win, Die Spook van Uniondale and Mooirivier in which se played the role of a single mom Marcelle. Youth production credits include the character Kallie in Bundu Buddies as well as puppet and voice work for the character Toko in Thabang Thabong. As an actress on TV Nadia has been seen in 7de Laan as Brenda P, Binneland as Nerina Franks, Hartland as Esme, Getroud Met Rugby season 4 and 5 as Iva Muller and Sterlopers as Ingrid Cilliers. Sterlopers also gave Nadia the opportunity to get involved behind the scenes and she was part of the creative team that brought the first season to life. Other production experience includes a Top10 shortfilm screened at the anual Silwerskerm film festival in Cape Town. Since the beginning of 2016 Nadia can be seen as a sport psychologist on the daily Getroud Met Rugby Soap Opera aired weekdays on kykNET and 2017 saw the launch of her social media film review platform FliekChick in proud association with sarie.com and Life in a Bulb Productions. Nadia has been seen on many magazine covers and enjoys being a part of the vibrant entertainment industry. She has shared her memoirs to date in her first book: Paaie van Hoop, co-written by herself an Jana van der Merwe and published by Lux Verbi. In 2018 Nadia will be collaborating with the well-known Willem Botha and do motivational talks while Willem entertains guests with his music. She truly hopes that her journey will inspire other to follow their dreams and work hard toward making them come true.
