For the better part of her life, Shay knew she wanted to be an actor. An opportunity arose when Shay got accepted into The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts is one of the best acting schools New York City has to offer. Every year they audition thousands of aspiring actors to create a new class of just 180 students. Those select few get the opportunity to experience the most demanding, comprehensive and rewarding acting training for today's aspiring actor. Many industry insiders have long recognized NYCDA as the premier film and television acting training ground in the country. Shay got in to the school and states clearly that it was the best decision she ever made. Shay Completed her studies in Acting Technique / Scene Study, Meisner, Voice and Speech, Improvisation / Comedy, Shakespeare, Voice Over and On Camera. During her studies in New York, Shay performed as the lead actress in Something to Talk About (Directed by Neal Lerner), Sex, Lies and Videotape (Directed by Maury Ginsberg) and Kramer vs. Kramer (Directed by Neal Lerner). Acting has taught Shay to be truthful in every moment of every scene. Shay has an inborn talent and a ravenous drive to succeed in the industry.
