Zöricke Snyman obtained her BA Drama degree from the University of Pretoria. During her studies she had the privilege to take part in the production 'I am a Camera' directed by Estelle Zeeman and Abri le Roux. She also performed in the student play Like Show business, directed by Michelle Ayden and performed at Grahams town Arts Festival. Throughout her degree she took part in, wrote and directed Theatre For Development and Theatre In Education programs, touring to clinics and schools in and around Pretoria. It's here where she developed a profound love for children and furthered her studies by obtaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Education: Intermediate and Senior phase. By combining these two degrees she joined The Playhouse acting studio where she had the privileged of working with Sarahann Doherty du Plooy where she trained various ages of students in the craft of acting. In the same year she joined a traveling educational group and performed the role of Iris in the adaptation of the grade 12 prescribed book Die kwart-voor-sewe-lelie. Other theatre credits include the Children's theatre productions Droombos se nuwe prinsessie (which was also performed at Aardklop) and Reenboogfeetjie se ongeluk. She's in love with pinups and polka dots and thoroughly enjoys being a Vintage Varga Girl at the dinner and dance Cantare restaurant in Montecasino.
