Ané is currently at Hoërskool Eldoraigne. She started drama lessons in 2007, when she was in Grade 1. Her coach is Hydie Loots. Ané has since won numerous categories (including unprepared reading, public speaking, poetry, dramatized poetry, prose, dramatized prose, unprepared group work) at the Centurion Art Festival, Pretoria Eisteddfod, Pierneef Eisteddfod, Artisticulta and SATCH. She also formed part of Eldoraigne Hoërskool’s stage productions in 2015 and 2016. In 2015 she played the role of an autistic child. The production was 3rd at the Tshwane Art festival. In 2016 she was awarded best supporting actress in the school production and played an orphan. Ané also takes Drama as a school subject and was awarded best drama student of Hoërskool Eldoraigne in 2014 & 2015. Acting is her passion. She also enjoys cross-country and public speaking. She has participated at national level (public speaking) in 2010, 2011, 2014 & 2015. Ané is a very friendly and loyal person, with her kind personality she communicates and interacts easily with anyone. She hopes to make a career of acting.
