Belinda is a fun loving and sincere young lady with a natural talent for theatrics and drama. She started acting classes at the age of 7, and has since a young age participated in plays, eisteddfods and drama exams, where she received numerous certificates and trophies. She was overall High School winner in Eisteddfods on a number of occasions. She won the award for Best Actress in the Tshwane District in 2014 and was awarded Gold certificates for outstanding performances at the ATKV “Tienertoneel”. Belinda has done the Final Communication exams of the South African Speech and Drama College in both English and Afrikaans, for which she received marks of 93% and 95% respectively. She also enjoys singing and dancing. She started with ballet at the age of 4 and has since successfully completed exams in Spanish dancing and Modern dancing as well as Hip Hop. Belinda recently completed an Acting on Screen Course, presented by Lelia Etsebeth and Jacques Bessenger. Belinda attended Die Hoërskool Menlopark in Pretoria, where, despite her commitment to her Drama and cultural activities, she also achieved her Academic colours. She was a member of her school’s Drama Academy, a journalist for the school newspaper and a Prefect. She got 6 distinctions in Matric and was Die Hoërskool Menlopark’s top achiever in 4 subjects, of which was Drama (90%), English Home Language (86%) and Afrikaans Home Language (96%), the latter of which she was also placed 2nd Nationally. Belinda is 100% bilingual, an articulate orator and a natural actor. Acting is her passion!
