Paul started drama lessons at the age of four. He bewildered audiences with his sparkling stage personality and won several trophies at Eisteddfods. In 2009, at the age of ten, he landed his first professional role by playing the lead in the stage production Balkie. It was featured at Innibos, The Performer Theater, Pierneef Theater and Die Volksbald Kunstefees in Bloemfontein. At the age of twelve he starred in SMS:Babakoors!, a stage production at the Vryfees and Atterbury Theater. In 2010 Paul was chosen to represent South Africa at the AMTC Convention in Orlando, USA. There he won the title of Top 4 Child Actor. Paul made his feature film debut in 2011 as Timus Rademan, the lead in Roepman. He also featured as Karel Jr. in the feature film Verraaiers (2012) and played Tekkies in Leon van Nierop's Radio series, Ratels on RSG. In 2014 he was seen as Walter du Toit, the lead in the feature film Agent 2000, as well as Hannes, in the youth series Thomas@ on kykNET. Paul is an enthusiastic young actor who believes everything is possible through hard work and dedication.
