Bonginkosi Mnisi is a Wits Alumni with a BA Dramatic Arts Degree. He has experience as a performing artist in acting, theatre making, physical theatre and choreography. He has instructed contemporary classes for Musoc in 2017 under Wits University employment. In the same year he started his internship under Drama for Life where he was part of the theatre company. As part of his internship he co-created and performed work that got to be showcased in Grahamstown Arts festival, the work is titled Insta-Grammar which also got invited to Cape Town for the Assitej Conference. He also had the privilege to be part of AfriQueer for 2 years and counting. The work is directed by Warren Nebe, and co-created by the cast. AfriQueer is site specific performance which as part of the cast Bonginkosi got to tour with the production to Botswana, Netherlands, Mozambique, Ghana and the home soil South Africa.
