Juan-Pierre Moller is an actor with a skinny body, but a big personality! Firstly J-P loves theatre work in Drama SA’s, was in Cats (Railway cat) and Moulin Rough (Duke), snippets. Then he jumped to our television sets in commercials for Mutual and Federal 2008 (Break fish tank), Steers Hoohah (Karate chop) 2011/2012 and Toyota Aygo 2011 (Break light with umbilical cord). Now searching for more theatre and Afrikaans series work as well. His newest and biggest role till now, is his Chicken Licken commercial – Big John 2014 – where he is a truck driver. (People actually stop him in mall now for photos… hehe). Also won Loerie award for Chicken Licken commercial. He did loads of cultural and sport activities on school level. Had Dramatic arts as an 8th subject in matric, did ATKV Debate, ATKV “Redenaars” / Public speaking, Concerts writing, coaching and directing for grade 8’s and SAPD awareness show. J-P participated in National “Kunswedstryd” / Eisteddfod (NEA), Talent Africa Provincial Finals and Kempton Park’s Eisteddfod where he was 9+/- 10 items winner. Musical play main character where he was the “Main Baddy” in one and the Headless man in the other. Also did Revue and was Hoërskool Birchleigh’s culture boy. Sound and Lighting manager at Edenglen High School and coahed public speaking and the play – Wizard of Oz. Juan-Pierre also participated in South African Championships of Performing Arts and qualified for International team. Was for four years part of the prestigious East Rand Youth Choir. Deputy Headboy in primary and high school. Each year received the most versatile boy in school award. He was Ekhuruleni’s culture boy (Gauteng) and was a Sterkinekor Teen Film Critic. Then while studying BA Psychology and business relations at North West university. In the first year’s concert he was HEIMAT dorm main character and choir – Pinocchio and year after that arranged and coached the first year’s play. Was part of 3 serenades of NWU and added to this he is also a provincial hockey umpire. Make every second count and reach for your dreams, just cause you can, is what he believes.
