Eugene Ngcobo holds a National Diploma in Drama from the Durban University of Technology. While at University he performed in the following plays Iph' Intombi (Jerry Pooe), The Doctor Inspite of Himself (Robin Singh), The Show Boat (Debbie Lutge), Animal Farm (Jerry Pooe) and the following students' plays, Betrayal, The Nurse where he won an award for the best actor in a Cameo Role. And he directed Finger Food as his final year directing project. In 2006, Eugene acted in a production Canvas which performed at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown. Eugene's television career includes the role of ER Doctor in Z’bondiwe, Lat in 7 de Laan, Taxi Driver in Scandal, Eugene in SASOL Corporate DVD, Joe in Generations, Daniel in a docu-drama, Crimes Uncovered SA, Tshisa as a Security Guard and FNB commercial. He wrote and directed a corporate play in 2010 for one of The Careways Group's clients for their World Aids Day event. In 2008 Eugene did arepp: Theatre for life which toured schools around Johannesburg and Durban.
