David Louw, 25

Originally from Vrede, David moved to Johannesburg and received 3 year Stage and Film Training at PALI (Performing Arts And Lifestyle Institution). He is better know for his character, Petrus Steyn, on kykNET’s Villa Rosa.

His other television credits include SABC’s series Hillside, with roles in films such as Shotgun for MNET and Tswane University of Technology Films: Headhunters, Nightbus, Mime, Hi Mom and The Seagull.

David is an avid sthage and theatre performer and has performed in Tyd om lief te hê at the Foxwood Theatre, Samoerai at Aardklop, KKNK, Innibos festivals, Nag van Legio at the Krekvars festival, Paulus at the KKNK, Hardloop Dominee at the Pierneef Theatre and the Breytenbach Theatre, Monophobia at the Breytenbach Theatre, No Service Please, We're South African! at the Pretoria State Theatre as well as The Seagull at the Pierneef Theatre. David’s passion also lies with behind the scene work and has done lights and sound for various productions.
