Getting to know Angelique
What is the highlight of your career so far?
I would say when I won the You Spectacular Award for Best Newcomer.
Where you are today is a result of what you were thinking yesterday. The Secret....I always try to think positive thoughts and I love surrounding myself with successful people, it is contagious!
We often hear about the glamorous life of performers – can you describe a moment where it hasn’t felt glamorous at all?
Well working 12 hours a day on a soap, sitting in a little room waiting for your scenes is very unglamorous. With Boer soek 'n Vrou I travel 9 hours a day to each farmer, and I always travel in my most comfy clothes with no make-up on and at every garage or coffee shop people recognise you and want photos - not glamorous at all!
What is your favourite way to spend your free time and relax?
I love watching TV, bad habit but it makes me feel so relaxed. I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and friends, as I don't see them as often as I'd like.
Who are you when no one is watching?
Crazy, ha ha! I have full on conversations with myself, God and my 2 little doggies.

Odelle de Wet recently secured a long-term contract on the kykNET soap, Binneland, produced by Stark Films. Better known for her role as Farrow Borman on SABC3’s Isidingo, Odelle is excited to be part of the Binneland team and especially to play the character of Delia Richter. Delia goes after what she wants, and damn the torpedoes – or the people in her way.

Beáte Olwagen has been interested and involved in the performing arts from a very early age. She played Rykie in the highly praised film Roepman, directed by Paul Eihlers and most recently finished shooting on the new Afrikaans film, Verraaiers as the character Martha alongside other Talent Etc™ artists including Jacques Bessenger and Neil Bennett-Grib.

As full time actor on kykNET’s daily soap, Villa Rosa, David is no stranger to the South African viewing public.
He was also seen at various Arts Festivals during 2011 in the acclaimed theatre production, Vaselientjie, returning to the Woordfees from 6-9 March 2012. David is currently shooting on a feature film, Wolwedans in die Skemer, where he is portraying one of the leading characters
